The Moons’ Threnody was a research vessel of magic, deciding to keep their research far from land where it could hurt anyone.
Eventually, their research turned against them and the crew, bludgeoned one another to death. Corren Saithe was the only survivor.

Crew seems to have bludgeoned each other to death. All passengers are covered in the same purple veins as the ship. Seems to be caused by either magic or the artefact
